C. &unaay guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert West were Mrs. West’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Wil son and grandfather, B. H. Bur russ of Swannanoa. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rutterbush, who have been occupying the Landis apartment, have moved to Rock Hill, S. C. Mr. and Mrs. Robert West moved to their new home on the County Home Road Saturday. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Staggs were Mr. and Mrs. Ottis Simpson of Greenville and Mr. and Mrs. Brooks Staggs and daughter, Kathleen of Campobello. Miss Ann Griswold is a patient at St. Luke’s Hospital, where she underwent an operation on Wed nesday. The Columbus Civic Club will hold their first meeting of the year on Monday night, Jan. 28th, at the Columbus court house at 7:30. All Columbus women are asked to attend. I ne Dorcas Sunday- school class of the Columbus Baptist Church met on Thursdav night at the home of Mrs. James McIntyre. Husbands and children were invited. Refresh ments were served. 100 Per Cent Contributors Two more business firms have joined the list of 100 per cent, contributors to the March of D'mes Campaign. They are the Trvon Bank & Trust Co., and Ballenger’s Foodland.
